Genesis 15:6

Genesis 15:6 And he believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness.

We often pursue righteousness through how we conduct ourselves.  We want to live rightly because we love God…and oftentimes for many other mixed reasons.  But when we believe, the Lord, we are counted righteous.  This was true for Abraham and it is true for us.  Believe the Lord and you will find yourself acting righteously.
