Hebrews 5:8

Hebrews 5:8 Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered.

How nice it would be if we could learn obedience through  Sunday School.  But more than often we learn best through the school of hard knocks.  Difficult and troubling circumstances press in on us and refine us like silver and gold.  Therefore, when you feel the pressure today, look to the life of Jesus, who was God’s son, and learned obedience through what he suffered.  Only in Him, will you find strength to endure.
