Our Favorite Music Right Now: October 2026

Theologically rich and melodically moving music is one of the greatest tools we have for keeping our hearts anchored throughout the week. We asked our pastors and staff to share the songs that are currently filling their homes, cars, and quiet moments with worship. If you're looking for something new to listen to that will both encourage your spirit and deepen your faith, here is what our team is loving right now.

Jesus Is Mine

"I think many of us at Grace are in great trials and suffering. This song beautifully paints the picture of those days of mourning while also having the steadfast joy of being united with Jesus." — Ely Vaughn

I'll Fly Away

"The hymn “I’ll Fly Away” expresses the Christian hope of leaving behind the sorrows, struggles, and limitations of this earthly life to enter the eternal joy of God’s presence. From a biblical perspective, the hymn points us toward the promise of resurrection and the hope of being with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17). While its imagery of flying away is poetic rather than literal, its message reflects a deep longing for the day when sin, suffering, and death will be no more." — Jason Winstead
